Heather VanCura gives us an insight into the Java Community Process (JCP).
The chairperson of the Java Community Process (JCP), Heather VanCura, shares more information about the JCP program in the JavaLand.tv interview with Benjamin Nothdurft, JUG Thüringen. The JCP program evaluates and standardizes new technological specifications for Java by the community, so-called JSRs (Java Specification Requests). Heather also explains the various types of JCP memberships and how the process might evolve in the future. Additionally, she gives an insight into how the Java release cycle changes affect the JCP.
