Workshops for youngsters (15 - 18 years)
Graph Data Mining with Neo4J and Java Workshop

In this advanced workshop we will explore graphs and their usage in Java. After a basic introduction, the main focus is on building, evaluating and visualizing relations. In this workshop, the young people are expected to have a wide technical overview with their own room for creativity.
Minecraft Modding with Forge Workshop

In this workshop we'll teach the teens on how to build Minecraft mods. We'll show you how to spawn an Ender Dragon from an egg, show an alert message when a creeper is spawned, make skeletons fight with each other and much more.
Workshops for kids (9 - 11 years)
Programming computer games with Scratch

Programming your own computer game? This workshop shows how it works with the programming language Scratch. In a simple way, we create figures and landscapes that we combine and bring to life. We walk through labyrinths, collect points and change levels. All this is implemented with the help of graphical programming modules, which can also be found in the real IT world. Programming techniques are learned in a playful and quick way by creating visual surfaces and amazing functions.
This workshop combines music and programming. It builds on the Sonic Pi platform, which was developed to introduce students to concepts such as loops, variables and conditions in a playful way. With the learned concepts they can creatively assemble their own melodies and rhythms. A unique piece of music is created, which can be listened directly - every programmed line is directly transformed into sounds and melodies.
Future of the IT Industry

Why IT?
Our goal is to introduce programming to children in a fun and playful way and encourage their creativity in dealing with the computer. One can never start early enough: The IT industry offers exciting career fields and very good prospects for the future with an attractive salary.
